Other ways to learn about construction jobs:
- Get out the phone book and look at the yellow pages for building contractors, general contractors, hardware stores, welding companies, and other construction-related businesses. Contact someone to schedule an informational interview to learn more about their job.
- Talk to your high school counselor about elective classes you can take while you are still in school.
