What do you think of when you think about transportation? Wanting your own car to drive to school? Taking the ferry to Juneau? Just look out the window, and you will see cars, trucks, delivery vans, buses, cruise ships, the ferry, the Coast Guard cutter, tugboats, and airplanes. Almost all of us rely on one type of transportation or another every day. Living in Southeast Alaska, you can imagine how many marine transportation jobs there must be. If you like the idea on being “on the go” all the time, a career in transportation may be for you!
